Young Turks

Nuri Sahin is the Borussia Dortmund football star signed this season by Real Madrid. I couldn't help noticing how similar he looks to his compatriot, Tarkan, known for his 90's song "Simarik (Kiss Kiss)" which was a hit internationally.

United by looks, controversy (and surgery?)

Here we look at two controversial figures... one Indian and one from the Arab world. Rakhi Sawant, actress-model, and Haifa Wehbe, Lebanese singer-actress, can be quite easily mistaken for each other. Their styles - from make-up to choice of wardrobe (Haifa could be slightly classier in the wardrobe department) are quite similar too. And yes, their tendency towards controversy and plastic surgery.

Brows turn people to Bros!

Here comes another footballer-actor combination! Eric Cantona, the Manchester United legend and Alfred Molina, the actor who's known his roles in Spiderman 2 and Chocolat, are sort of "united" by their eyebrows. Their pics with shaven heads too look kind of similar, though you can very well make out who's who. I couldn't help comparing Cantona to the Easter Island statue though!

Stifler and Sneijder

Seann William Scott, known for his portrayal of Stifler in the American Pie series, and Wesley Sneijder, the Netherlands footballer... I've felt they look quite alike, though can't find anywhere else on the web at a quick glance, that agrees with me. People do seem to say William Scott looks a lot like Andy Roddick, the American tennis star.

Natalie and Keira

Natalie Portman, the Harvard grad actress, and Keira Knightley, the Brit star. These two beautiful talented actresses have very similar features... their smile perhaps gives it away. They are both normally quite distinguishable, but still feel quite alike in quite a number of angles.

Receding hairlines and Blue eyes

Vladimir Putin and Nasser Hussain... look so alike. The Russian premier is more aged. One other who has similar features would be current Bond, Daniel Craig. He's got a much better hairline though.

There're also the hilarious Smeagol/Gollum (from Lord of the Rings) and Dobby (from Harry Potter) resemblences too!

Turk-German, Scot... and American

Mesut Ozil (from my favourite club, Real Madrid) happens to look so alike James McAvoy. He's the talented Scottish actor in such movies as Atonement and The Last King of Scotland. Yeah, the differences are apparent in other photo angles, but these two still have a lot of similarities. Ozil's eyes are quite distinguishable in this respect. Adrien Brody, the Oscar winner, also could pass off as a brother to these two probably differing from them with a longer face.
